homemade pazookie

Did you know that National Chocolate Cookie Day was August 4th? To celebrate I decided to make a pazookie! Chocolate chip cookies are a favorite in my house and so is ice cream, especially chocolate chip. Are you seeing the pattern? The pazookie was easy to make and it the kids approved.

As mentioned it was easy to make and this is coming from someone who has never baked cookies in her life. I am dead serious. It wasnt until I was making the dough that I realized I wasnt 100% sure what the consistency was supposed to be like, yikes! Below you will find all that you need to make this delicious pazookie!

Better Crocker Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix ( you will only need to add 2 ingredients to the mix)

1 stick of butter

2 tablespoons of water

Ice Cream of Choice (the kids LOVE the Thrifty Chocolate Chip Cookie)

Non stick pan

First I preheated the oven to 375° and then I got started on the cookie mix. The Betty Crocker Mix comes with instructions and I went with that. I added all of the ingredients in a bowl and the added the cookie dough to a buttered pan. I put the cookie in the oven for 10 minutes. I waited a few minutes for the cookie to cool down and I the added 3 scoops of ice cream.

This is a super easy to make dessert and it is one of our favorites!
